Carly Tolhurst is a Registered Nurse (RN) and Medical Aesthetician with a passion for helping clients achieve healthy, radiant skin through personalized, evidence-based aesthetic care. As the founder of EmmRey Medical Aesthetics, Carly combines medical knowledge, advanced aesthetic training, and a patient-first approach to deliver treatments that enhance natural beauty while promoting long-term skin health.
Her goal is to educate, empower, and support every client by providing honest guidance, customized treatment plans, and exceptional care in a welcoming and professional environment.
Carly Tolhurst is a Registered Nurse and the founder of EmmRey Medical Aesthetics with more than 20 years of healthcare experience. She is passionate about helping people look and feel their best through safe, personalized aesthetic care. Originally from Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Carly now calls Quesnel home. She began her healthcare career in 1997 as a nurse’s aide and mental health worker before earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and becoming a Registered Nurse in 2014.
Throughout her nursing career, Carly has worked in post-anesthetic recovery, medical-surgical care, patient care coordination, and nursing support services. She has also served as the Health Director for the City of Quesnel.
By combining her medical knowledge with a passion for skin health, Carly founded EmmRey Medical Aesthetics to provide advanced aesthetic treatments in a welcoming, professional environment. Her goal is to help every client achieve healthy, natural-looking results with personalized care.
